Chadbourne’s Warsaw office opened in 1990, as part of the firm Altheimer & Gray. Acquired in 2004 by Chadbourne, the Warsaw office concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and foreign investments, real estate development, banking and finance, intellectual property and technology, insurance, privatizations, tax and customs, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, energy, telecommunications and securities. Lawyers in the office have helped transform the Polish state economy into a market economy by taking part in privatization processes and legislative changes. We were involved in over 100 privatizations—the most of any law firm in Poland. Our lawyers have also played a role in developing other aspects of a market economy, such as mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, and the financial and securities infrastructure.
