The São Paulo office of Chadbourne & Parke was opened in 2010 to strengthen its established Latin American presence and best serve clients conducting business in Brazil and Brazilian multinational entities expanding outside Brazil. The multi-disciplinary office draws upon our deep existing relationships in Latin America while extending the Firm's prominent practices in corporate finance, energy, international arbitration and litigation, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and project finance.

Chadbourne's São Paulo-based attorneys counsel clients in the construction, energy, finance, infrastructure and renewable energy industries, among others, and have worked extensively with leading Brazilian corporations, export-credit agencies, international commercial and development banks, investment funds, international investors and bilateral and multilateral agencies on an array of matters. Our experience includes not only representing clients in many of the highest profile transactions in Latin America, but also assisting companies with sound business advice and strategic planning.

Our São Paulo office includes professionals who are fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and who are admitted to practice in NY and in the UK. We also possess a thorough knowledge of the local customs, legal systems and political environments of Brazil, allowing us to implement creative solutions and resolve even the most complex issues in an efficient manner.
