European Pro Bono Forum

October 18-19, 2007

Sylwester Pieckowski of the Warsaw office attended the first European Pro Bono Forum, held October 18-19 a the Hotel Novotel in Budapest, Hungary. The event featured discussions about starting and maintaining pro bono programs, developments in continental Europe, understanding NGOs, and how NGOs and law firms can collaborate on pro bono matters. The event attracted 140 participants from 19 countries. It was organized by the Public Interest Law Institute, which has offices in Budapest, Moscow and New York.
