February 19, 2013

Chadbourne & Parke partner and Public Companies practice group head Marc A. Alpert was one of six attorneys nationwide recently honored for the third straight year by The BTI Consulting Group as an "All-Star MVP" in the BTI Client Service Law Firm All-Stars 2013 survey. This is Mr. Alpert's fifth overall BTI Client Service All-Star nomination.

The BTI Client Service All-Stars are an elite group of attorneys named in an unprompted manner by senior corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies in BTI’s independent study as delivering the absolute best in client service.

In naming Mr. Alpert again, BTI said he received client kudos for his unwavering responsiveness to client needs. "He pays strict attention to my needs and focuses on success," BTI quoted one client in praising Mr. Alpert.

Mr. Alpert was interviewed by Law360 for a story about the BTI survey results and his spot on the list. He told the publication that the key to securing deals is keeping up with his clients. For him, that means listening in on earnings calls, reading securities filings, press releases and other publications and visiting them in person to meet not only with General Counsel but also CFOs and other executives on the business side.

"You're just so much sharper and strategic in your advice when you appreciate the business and what the client is trying to accomplish," said Mr. Alpert.

"Chadbourne is very proud of Marc's achievement," said Chadbourne Managing Partner Andrew Giaccia."His nomination is a powerful acknowledgement of the Firm's continued dedication to consistently providing clients with outstanding service."
