Practice Description
In August 2008, Mark Pring relocated from Chadbourne & Parke's London office to its Dubai office in view of the rapid expansion of the latter's dispute resolution workload, although he retains a practice in both offices. Mr. Pring has significant experience in handling high-profile multi-jurisdictional disputes, both cross-border litigation and international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance, energy and real estate disputes. In the insurance context, Mr. Pring's key areas of expertise include handling claims arising out of professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ (D&O), credit risks and complex coverage disputes relating to facultative and treaty reinsurances. He also advises clients on inspections and commutation exercises as well as acting for office holders, policyholders, cedants and reinsurers on various issues impacting insurance and reinsurance company insolvencies.
