Chadbourne was one of the first U.S. law firms to establish an office in Moscow, in 1990. Our Moscow office is comprised of approximately 30 U.S., English and Russian qualified attorneys (each of whom is bilingual) and a total bilingual staff numbering more than 60, including paralegals, translators, secretaries and other support staff. Each of our partners has more than a decade of experience advising clients on Russian transactions.

Lawyers in the Moscow office are known for their skills in corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, natural resources, energy and litigation. The office has been involved in major cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, complex financings including project finance, structured finance and major syndicated financings, and has advised on dozens of financings governed by Russian, English and U.S. law. In the past two years alone, our Moscow office has advised on more than two dozen project financings involving commercial banks and multilateral and bilateral agencies.
