Jacek Kosiński

European Counsel

Practice Description

Jacek Kosiński has many years of experience in legal advising. He advised major Polish and international clients from the public and private sectors on real estate matters and issues connected with construction law. Mr. Kosiński specializes in advising on complex infrastructure projects for the public sector in particular; however, he also advised private partners. His experience encompasses projects related with transportation and public infrastructure, e.g. underground parking facilities.

Representative Matters

  • Represents Gülermak Heavy Industries Construction & Contracting Co. Inc., a member of the Italian-Turkish-Polish consortium Astaldi-Gülermak-PBDiM, in connection with the development of the second line of the metro in Warsaw. For example, he successfully represented the consortium before the National Appeal Chamber and the courts of law in connection with public procurement appeal proceedings.
  • Provided legal services on real property financing projects to BZ WBK S.A. (project in Wrocław) and to Allied Irish Banks p.l.c. (project in Poznań). 
  • Advised Cesas, a Turkish construction company, on a project regarding reconstruction and modernization of two wharves in Gdynia for a NATO naval military base. 
  • Advised Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions with regard to implementation of integrated systems of traffic control and management in the cities of Olsztyn and Gdynia as well as with regard to the City Tram project in Łódź. 
  • Advised Bovis in contract negotiations regarding the development of two factories for Cadbury Wedel, i.e. a chewing gum factory and a chocolate factory. 
  • Represented Danfoss in negotiations, development and investment processes in connection with construction of their factory in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. 
  • Advised the Polish National Roads and Motorways Agency in PPP projects involving two tender procedures, including preparation of DBFO contracts, relating to the development of sections of motorways in Poland (a section of the motorway A1 from Strykow to Pyrzowice and a section of the motorway A2 from Stryków to Konotopa). 
  • Advised the Polish National Roads and Motorways Agency in preparation and negotiations of concession contracts regarding the development of a section of the motorway A2 from Świecko to Nowy Tomyśl. 
  • Advised the Polish National Roads and Motorways Agency in a project regarding the development of off-motorway service area infrastructure called Travelers Servicing Points, including gas stations and hotel, retail and services infrastructure.
