2011 Practicing Attorneys for Law Students

February 9, 2011

On February 9th, practicing attorneys and law students in the New York City area attended a Mentoring Program Reception at Chadbourne & Parke.

Guest Presenter:
Timothy D. Lynch, Board Chair for the Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program (PALS) | Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The networking reception provided students and lawyers an opportunity to meet with their mentors or mentees and to network with each other and with Chadbourne attorneys.

Law students of color and attorneys interested in future participation gathered to learn more about the Minority Law Student Mentoring Program, as well as the PALS organization.

Mentoring relationships are rewarding to both parties and are essential in the professional world. Attorneys shared their own experiences on the giving and receiving end of mentoring relationships.
