Business Opportunities & Legal Challenges In Latin America
July 28, 2011
The Directors Roundtable Institute Invites You to Attend a Program For Boards of Directors and Their Advisors
Latin America is an important growing economic region. Companies are investing there in a broad variety of industries including energy & natural resources, agribusiness, manufacturing, consumer goods, communication, and finance. In pursuing these opportunities, they must carefully consider the challenges of the legal, regulatory, and enforcement environment. Not only does each local country have its own laws, but also the United States agencies have a long global reach. This includes antibribery, money laundering, securities, tax, and other areas. This Distinguished Panel will begin with an overview of business opportunities and dealmaking in Latin America; and then focus on legal issues and investigations.
The Directors Roundtable Institute is a not-for-profit which organizes worldwide programming for Directors and their advisors.
