Second Annual Focus on Emerging Markets Conference

This afternoon program will highlight current issues and trends in the financing and development of energy projects in emerging markets and will provide an opportunity for dialogue on current issues being faced by emerging market participants. A similar workshop last year drew top people at multilateral lending and export credit agencies, political risk insurers, commercial banks and project developers. 

There will be a number of panel discussions, including on the following topics:

  • Current state of lending and impact on projects in emerging markets
  • New products and recent developments in political risk insurance coverage
  • Trends, opportunities and challenges for emerging market renewable energy projects
