Practice Description
Donald Mros has worked on a wide range of matters, both dispute-related and regulatory. Mr. Mros has been involved in a number of reinsurance arbitrations and litigations that concerned a variety of issues including disputes related to asbestos and environmental exposures. He has advised clients on various insurance and reinsurance regulatory issues, including those related to financial guaranty insurance. Mr. Mros has represented clients in most of the significant insurance and reinsurance company insolvencies in the last 20 years, including the liquidations of Mission Insurance Company, Integrity Insurance Company and Reliance Insurance Company. He also represents receivers for alien insurers on matters in the United States.
Activities and Affiliations
Mr. Mros is a member of the District of Columbia and Missouri Bars and the International Bar Association. He is also a member of the AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society and was a member of the ARIAS committee on forms and procedures.
