Practice Description
Daniel J. Greenwald is the Managing Partner of Chadbourne’s office in Dubai. His practice encompasses joint ventures, project development and construction, acquisitions, investments, contracts, complex dispute resolution, and international arbitration and litigation. He has worked with clients in investment and finance, construction and project development, real estate, oil and gas exploration and oilfield services, healthcare, technology, education, logistics and government. Client matters have been throughout the United Arab Emirates, Gulf and Middle East, North America, Europe, Russia and the CIS, Afghanistan and Africa.
Mr. Greenwald has practiced law in Dubai since 1986, with Chadbourne and his own firm. From 1991 to 1992, he served as the Head of Corporate Finance Department of Arabian General Investment Company (now SHUAA Capital), an international investment and financial services company, responsible for the Corporate Finance, Legal and Marketing departments, including the direct investment program in Europe and North America. As General Counsel with AGICO from 1989 to 1991, Mr. Greenwald handled corporate legal matters with regard to negotiating and structuring direct investments and financings. He previously worked at Chadbourne’s New York, Washington D.C. and Dubai offices and was a partner from 1985 to 1989.
