Practice Description
Charles Hord’s practice is primarily related to corporate and finance law. During his career, he has advised a number of companies and financial institutions concerning a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions involving both public and private companies, domestic and foreign joint ventures, public offerings and private placements of securities, institutional and bank lending, restructurings, leveraged recapitalizations and buy-outs, leasing and structured financings. These transactions have involved a broad range of businesses, including manufacturing, retailing, energy, technology, life insurance, publishing and telecommunications.
Honors
Chambers USA (2010) listed Mr. Hord for his work nationwide in Energy: Electricity.
The Legal 500 (2008) named Mr. Hord a "leading lawyer" with the comment, "A skilled negotiator, cool and confident in difficult negotiations."
