Practice Description

Chris Flood has broad experience advising both Chinese and international clients on cross-border corporate transactions, with an emphasis on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic investments, private equity, financings and restructuring transactions.

He has been based in China since 2005. Prior to joining Chadbourne & Parke LLP in 2010, he was most recently a member of Shearman & Sterling LLP’s mergers and acquisitions group. Before moving to China, he practiced corporate law for several years in the Toronto office of Stikeman Elliott LLP.

  • Sina Corporation in its proposed $1.3 billion acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Focus Media.
