VeraSun Energy Corp. Chapter 11

We currently represent WestLB AG as agent for a syndicate of secured lenders and as agent in connection with a debtor-in-possession financing facility for a group of ethanol plants owned by VeraSun. VeraSun was one of the nation's largest ethanol producers, which filed for Chapter 11 in 2008. In addition to negotiating and documenting the debtor-in-possession financing facility, we took necessary actions for the lenders to successfully credit bid for their collateral at a section 363 sale.
