Update: Recent Developments Under the NLRA

Client Alert

April 24, 2012

Our prior client alert and subsequent email update (which can be found here and here) advised that the new employer notice requirement under the National Labor Relations Act was scheduled to become effective on April 30, 2012 (after being postponed from January 31, 2012). That effective date has now been postponed indefinitely due to ongoing litigation challenging the rule. The National Labor Relations Board recently announced that it will not implement the rule until the ongoing litigation has been resolved. The National Labor Relations Board's press release regarding this postponement can be found here.
