Chadbourne litigation partners Thomas J. McCormack and Alan I. Raylesberg participated in the opening mock trial titled “A Day in the Life of an E-discovery Case” on November 27. With teams playing the roles of corporate counsel, outside counsel, and forensic experts, this role-play session examined all aspects of the e-discovery process. Attendees learned first hand about strategies for complying with the recently-amended federal rules concerning e-discovery, the types of pre-trial disputes that can arise from e-discovery and techniques for addressing a motion to compel seeking sanctions for e-discovery lapses.
