Chadbourne represents a major ceding company with respect to the reinsurance aspects of major losses, including asbestos, environmental pollution, mass torts, the attacks on the World Trade Center, and Hurricane Katrina. In addition to representing the company in dispute resolution proceedings when necessary, Chadbourne assists and advises with respect to ensuring that the company complies with its reporting requirements, makes appropriate reinsurance presentations and collects insurance recoverables.
