Purchase of a Telecommunications Company

Chadbourne represented a consortium of international banking groups (led by JNR) interested in buying Ukrtelecom, the advanced enterprise with the developed infrastructure that holds leading position in the field of fixed telephony market of Ukraine. We negotiated an agreement with Ukrtelecom, partially developed the transaction structure and started to conduct the due diligence. The State Property Fund decided to put the sale on hold.
