Chadbourne represented The AES Corporation in a $700M domestic leveraged lease financing of two coal-fired electricity generating stations from New York State Electric and Gas Corporation (NYSEG) in upstate New York . This was one of the first stand-alone financings of its kind which also involved pass-through trust certificates issued in a Rule 144A offering.
