Chadbourne represented Duke Energy, co-sponsor with The Williams Companies, in connection with the Rule 144A private placement of $850 million in notes in which JPMorgan, Lehman Brothers Inc. and Merrill Lynch were joint lead managers for the sale to refinance the 110 mile expansion of the Gulfstream Natural Gas System, which runs from the terminus of Gulf 1 in Polk County to Florida Power and Light's Indiantown power complex in Martin County in southeastern Florida.
