Bank Hapoalim

Chadbourne won a $24 million verdict in New York State Supreme Court on behalf of Bank Hapoalim in a fraud case brought against an Italian bank. Our client alleged that the Italian bank and certain subsidiaries issued promissory notes at a discount and did not repay the notes at maturity. The verdict came after a 12-day jury trial and was ranked in The New York Law Journal's Top New York Verdicts of the Year.
