Financial Laboratory Conference: Financing Growth of Russian and CIS Companies on AIM

Several Chadbourne lawyers took part in discussions at the Financial Laboratory at the London Stock Exchange Conference (FinLab), held June 22-23, 2006 in London. This conference focused on Russian and CIS mid-cap companies considering listing in London and other capital markets. On June 22, the conference examined developments of the so called CIS IPO market. Kenneth Mack spoke on a panel discussion called “Different Institutional Approaches to Capital Markets Development in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.” On June 23, the conference dealt with the practical aspects of preparation for listing and practical steps companies should take to ensure a successful IPO in London. Christopher Owen moderated a panel discussion titled “Local listing or AIM . . . or Both?” AIM refers to “Alternative Investment Market.” Chadbourne was a sponsor of this conference.
