Ecovias Toll Road System

Concessionaria Ecovias dos Imigrantes, S.A.

Chadbourne represented Concessionaria Ecovias dos Imigrantes, S.A., the project company, and the sponsors in the $500 million financing of the Sistema Anchieta-Imigrantes project, a toll highway system connecting metropolitan São Paolo, Brazil with Santos and surrounding communities. The project sponsors are Primav Construcoes e Comercio Ltda, a Brazilian company which is a subsidiary of the C.R. Almeida Group, and Impregilo S.p.A., an Italian company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. Financing for this Brazil project was arranged by Inter-American Development Bank and BNDES.
