Walter Hanchuk spoke on the topic titled, "What is Grokster and what are the implications in the short term?" He will cover the following information: the new generation of Peer-2-Peer: what is Grokster and how is it different than Napster?; the Ninth Circuit decision - the Betamax precedent; being held liable after the Supreme Court's ruling - fostering infringement by third parties; and the difficulties for the future by not overruling Betamax - the definition of substantial non infringing use.
