Chadbourne Advises Credit Suisse on a Financing for BPZ Resources LLC and Its Operating Peruvian Subsidiary

Chadbourne & Parke LLP, represented Credit Suisse, as administrative agent and lead arranger, in a $75 million secured financing for BPZ Resources Inc., BPZ Energy LLC and its operating Peruvian subsidiary BPZ Exploracion & Produccion S.R.L.

The financing was secured by a lien in BPZ's oil and gas concession rights, production output and sales' receivables.

Working on the deal for Chadbourne were New York partner Carlos Albarracín, New York associates Joseph Giannini and New York visiting attorney Jorge Dominguez.
