Purdue Pharma L.P.

Chadbourne represented Purdue Pharma L.P., a privately-held drug manufacturer and the maker of OxyContin, in seeking over $23 million in damages against Johnson & Johnson arising out of its breaches of a joint drug development and marketing agreement. The case was tried in an international arbitration, and after our client's case-in-chief was presented, a favorable settlement agreement was obtained by Purdue.
