Golden Telecom

Chadbourne represented Golden Telecom, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company, on numerous acquisitions in Russia, including the $100 million acquisition of 50% of the interest in Sovintel and a $200 million acquisition of Comincom/Combellga previously owned by Telenor, each involving the placement of shares in Golden Telecom through 144A placements. We also recently represented Golden Telecom on the acquisition of a controlling interest in an Uzbek communications company.
