Tenaska Power Fund

Chadbourne represented Tenaska Power Fund in its $1.6 billion acquisition of 3,145 megawatt natural gas-fired power plants from Constellation Energy. Plants acquired in this transaction include the High Desert Plant in Victorville, CA; Rio Nogales in Seguin, TX; Holland Energy in Shelby County, IL; Big Sandy in Neal, WV; University Park in Chicago, IL; and Wolf Hills in Bristol, VA. Tenaska Power Fund is managed by the Calgary, Alberta-based general partner Tenaska Capital Management, LLC.

Chadbourne represented Tenaska on all aspects of this transaction, including the acquisition, financing and commodity hedging arrangements.
